Kavak

Kavak is a beautiful village situated in the far south of the Kavak/Kamarata Valley. Auyan Tepuy towers to the northwest while, if you fly in to the village, the whole of the valley is laid out like a green hued patchwork of savannah and forest . Kavac is an increasingly popular destination for Angel Falls tours. It was designed to be a tourist camp built in traditional Pemon style and was run by Horturvensa. There are numerous excursions one can do from here, the most impressive take in the waterfalls and caves to the west.
